FACIAL RECOGNITION AND ARCHIVE SEARCH

Every person, every word, every face. Instantly findable across your collection

YourArchive automatically scans your entire collection. Every document and image is OCR-indexed and fully searchable. Every audio and video recording is auto-transcribed with timestamps. And every face in every photograph is identified through facial recognition. Name a person once and every image containing them is tagged automatically across your entire archive.

  • Facial recognition groups photographs by the people in them automatically across your entire collection
  • Community members can help identify unknown faces, add context and contribute their own material, turning your archive into a growing, collaborative resource.
  • OCR makes every word in every document and image fully searchable, including handwritten material
  • Audio and video transcription with timestamps — every spoken word becomes searchable
  • Rich metadata search by name, date, place, keyword and content type

CUSTOMER STORY

The Royal Anglian Regiment Museum

The Royal Anglians Museum is migrating their existing collection catalogue from a local installation to YourArchive's fully web-based platform, providing greater capacity and flexibility for accessioning and managing the collection, alongside an enhanced level of redundancy and data security.

The YourArchive community portal will allow the museum to share elements of their collection in a controlled manner, more easily and more quickly than before. Former members of the regiment, researchers and academics will be able to access curated collections for the first time, wherever they are in the world.

Looking ahead, YourArchive will also allow the museum to digitally collect stories and materials from around the world, ensuring they are saved for posterity and available for future generations.
