YourArchive + Canva: Turn Your Collections into Beautiful Designs
The organisations we work with have extraordinary content, content that deserves to be seen by far more people! With Canva integration, we've made it easier than ever to take that content and turn it into something that genuinely reaches new audiences, in a fraction of the time and without needing a design team behind you.

From archive to on-brand designs in minutes.
Whether it's photographs from decades ago or an oral history you captured last week, you're sitting on content the world would love to see! Stories that connect communities, illuminate the past and demonstrate the real impact of vital work. And you're probably already sharing some of it, whether that’s on social media, in emails, or putting together YouTube videos.
But how long does it currently take you to find the right content, add your branding, stitch it all together? Having the content is one thing. Having the time, resource and design capability to turn it into something that genuinely reaches new audiences… that's the real challenge!
That’s where Canva comes in.
Canva: professional design for everyone
Canva has transformed the way organisations communicate. Used by millions of people worldwide, it gives anyone (regardless of design experience) the ability to create polished, professional content across every channel. Social media graphics. YouTube videos. Email newsletters. Printed materials. Exhibition displays. Fundraising appeals. All built from ready-made templates that can be customised to your brand in minutes.
For small teams without dedicated design resource, it's transformative. Content that once required a designer, a budget and a brief can now be produced in-house, quickly and consistently, by anyone on your team.
Now your archive feeds directly into it
We're excited to announce that YourArchive now integrates with Canva.
That means the photographs, documents, videos and stories in your collection can be pushed directly from your archive into your Canva account, ready to use in whatever you're creating. No downloading. No hunting through folders. No re-uploading. Your content is simply there, ready to go.
What could you create?
The combination of your archive content and Canva's design tools opens up real possibilities for reaching new audiences and deepening existing relationships:
Branded YouTube videos
Bring collection highlights to life in short, engaging videos that introduce new audiences to your archive and build a loyal subscriber community.
Social media content
Turn archive material into shareable posts that spark curiosity, drive engagement and grow your following across platforms.
Email newsletters
Showcase collection highlights, share new discoveries and keep supporters, members and donors connected to your work.
Fundraising appeals
Authentic, emotive archive imagery tells your story in a way nothing else can, giving donors a compelling reason to give.
Exhibition & event materials
Produce on-brand printed and digital materials quickly, without the need for external design support.
Anniversary & centenary content
Mark significant milestones with content that celebrates your history and gives your community something to rally around.
Volunteer & community communications
Tell your story compellingly to the people who give their time and energy to support your organisation.
Reach new audiences
Create digital content that introduces your collection to people who have never heard of you, and gives them a reason to keep coming back.
